Yphix is a unique, independent Dutch LED lighting brand. As a stock-holding supplier, we offer a wide range of high-quality LED lighting and fixtures for a large array of applications.
The idea to launch Yphix originated in 2007, at the start of the commercial LED revolution that drastically changed the lighting market. As LED lighting technology made its way to consumers, we saw traditional lighting manufacturers struggle with quality and experience, which negatively influenced people’s perception of LED.
In those early years, lighting manufacturers intentionally delayed the introduction of LED, as they feared LED’s longer life span would lead to decreasing sales and revenue. But because we believed LED lighting would significantly contribute to a more sustainable world and a better lighting experience, we took initiative to accelerate the introduction of LED lighting. Our Yphix brand was born.
Our aim? To make reliable and high-quality LED lighting available to everyone. Offering our customers a better lighting experience -- and 90% less energy costs compared to traditional lighting sources. LED’s significantly longer lifespan results in less waste, less energy consumption, and low heat generation, making it the most efficient low-energy light source option. Within our business processes, we aim to reduce waste, use less unnecessary plastics and cut out as many unnecessary activities as we can. It’s how we contribute to a better, more sustainable world.
We’ve always exclusively focused on LED, not traditional lighting. Yphix was born out of the urge to convince people of the beauty and quality of LED lighting, accelerating market adoption and ultimately contributing to a better, more sustainable world.

Reliable, well thought-out materials and design
We make products with materials that last. Strips are gold wired, no gold alloy. Powder coated or anodized aluminium fixtures, not lacquered. Blind mounted ceiling and wall lights, no screws in sight. PMMA lightguide plated panels, no discolouring materials. With weldless corners, double welded on the inside. No ring holders in front of the lamps. Thick aluminium plates. Incredibly small built-in height for our downlights and spots. Just a few examples of how carefully we think out materials and product design.
Energy-efficient
LED lighting is far more durable than traditional lighting and it consumes only a fraction of the energy. This not only saves a lot of money; the increased lifespan and decreased energy consumption also lowers CO2 emissions and waste. Additionally, we remove as much single-use plastic from our supply chain as we can.
Optimised production process
Our products are produced according to the highest standards while eliminating all unnecessary processes. It’s more efficient that way.
Quality controlled
We closely cooperate with our manufacturers in Europe and Asia. Our strict on-site quality control procedures guarantee our products consistently meet the agreed quality levels. We invest in quality assurance throughout the entire product development process. All our bulbs are 2-step quality controlled: both in-house and by an external German auditor.
Certified
Our products are manufactured according to the latest international standards and regulations. Plus, they’re CE certified in order to guarantee our worldwide customers the highest levels of quality, without compromising on the environment or people’s wellbeing.
