This group of Boulder Halls across the Netherlands - with locations in Amsterdam, Utrecht, Leiden, Maastricht, Zwolle and Groningen – needed a high quality lighting solution. Bouldering is a form of free climbing that is performed on small rock formations or artificial rock walls without the use of ropes or harnesses. Bouldering is the fastest growing part of climbing and has become increasingly popular in recent years. The Boulder Halls aim to provide the ultimate bouldering experience. The right light is essential for achieving maximum performance and safety.
In the bouldering areas new Yphix Floodlights were installed. The cool color temperature and the increased brightness of the new floodlights are perceived by staff and climbers to have a positive effect on their energy levels and climbing performance. The floodlights have been installed to provide uniform illumination, from every corner and angle in the halls.
The achieved high visual lighting comfort in the bouldering area improves the vision of climbers during training. Ensuring the perfect conditions for climbers, making the experience even better. The new Yphix floodlights also enable energy savings of up to 50% compared to conventional floodlights. The 5 year guarantee provides the Boulder Halls peace of mind and easy maintenance.
